Current and Upcoming shows in and around Baltimore.
Many shows of interest are up or coming up in the baltimore area:
This Sunday is a huge sound and performance piece by the people of Shua Group called Public Moves. Our very own Brian Garner will be helping with the sound portion of the performance, taking place on Federal Hill and sure to be heard across the whole harbor. Performers are still welcome to join in the event provided you take place in a rehearsal on Saturday. Information is available on the Public Moves page.

The Great Halloween Lantern Parade takes place this Saturday in Patterson Park, sponsored by Nana Projects. This is a great event for people of all ages, and there is still room to participate I believe. It starts at 7:30.

Two alumnae and friends of the printmaking department have work on display at The Brewer’s Art (it’s about time they changed out their artwork). Jodi Hoover and Adrienne Figus are in a 3 person show there from now through November 16th. Check it out!

Gary Kachadourian (someone everyone who intends to live in baltimore and make art should know!) has a show opening next week at the Gormley Gallery at the College of Notre Dame. Gary is a major supporter of the arts and is the Visual Arts Coordinator for the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts. (Think: Art Scape, Book Fair, Sondheim fellowship.) The exhibition is Life-Sized Prints and assorted Drawing Projects. The McDonalds image to the left is a piece of a life-sized (30′ long?) image.
The exhibition is up from October 27 – Dec. 5, and the opening will be Saturday Nov. 1 from 4-6 PM.
But don’t take my word for it! See for yourself!
