For those of you who already knew about his visit, Book Artist Paul Johnson’s lecture and demo next week in the Laurie’s Artist Book class has been canceled due to VOLCANO (didn’t see that one coming, did you!?!)

A volcano in Iceland is spewing out so much ash that flights from europe are canceled, not due to visibility but because the cinders in the ash will damage engine components.  Ominous eh?:

I know, it’s almost like it’s out of some movie somewhere!
