Color Field Notes by Poly Apfelbaum at Durham Press, 2010

From the class description:

At the same time that information is increasingly delivered by pixel rather than ink, printed matter has become the defining visual language of the industrial world. How can print be dead when it is literally everywhere one looks? In this context, the art world has witnessed a new print revival.

This course explores the current state of art in print, the various parallel communities that support the creation of printed art, and the implications of an increasingly digital culture for print artists.

THIS CLASS IS STRONGLY RECOMMEND FOR ALL PRINTMAKING MAJORS AND CONCENTRATORS!
