Dolphin Press & Print Coordinator

Dolphin Press and Print — printmaking @ 12:07 pm, Wednesday, February 6th, 2013

Hello MICA Printmaking faculty and students,

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Shelby Rosoff, currently enrolled as a Junior Printmaking and Art History Major. I’m very happy to announce that I will be the Dolphin Press & Print Coordinator for Spring 2013!

Throughout the semester, I will be documenting and maintaining the Dolphin Press & Print Collection, housed on the second floor of Dolphin (right next to the screen printing studio). There is a diverse amount of paper in stock, as well as prints created in collaboration with a variety of visiting fine artists and student printers. Besides cataloguing all the great material we have in house, I will begin to organize presentations of the prints for our classes. There are great examples of screenprinting, relief, lithography, letterpress and more to inspire your printmaking practice.

These informal shows will be held during class, in studio and within the office.

I will be working regular office hours on Mondays, 2-7. If you have any questions or requests don’t hesitate to drop in! I also work as a shop Monitor on Tuesdays, so if you see me around feel free to speak to me then. And if you cannot find me, email me at srosoff@mica.edu so we can work something out.

To find out more about the collection, please visit the Dolphin Press and Print website.

Happy printing!
