Visiting Artist George Walker

Join the Printmaking Department in welcoming George Walker, Artist, Printmaker, and Master Wood Engraver, and author, hailing from Ontario, CA.


George Walker is an Associate Professor in Bookarts at the Ontario College of Art & Design and a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. He is the author of The Woodcut Artist’s Handbook: Techniques & Tools for Relief Printmaking. He is the owner of Biting Dog Press, and the graphic novel acquisitions editor for the Porcupine’s Quill.

George Walker will be presenting his work and lecturing in Dolphin 104 (Lithography) on Friday, Nov. 20th at 10AM.
