Tamarind bound 2014!

Department,Majors — KVH @ 11:09 am, Tuesday, February 25th, 2014

Congratulations to Printmaking major Jackie Riccio (2014) and alumnaeĀ Danielle Blevins (2012) on their acceptance to Tamarind in Fall 2014!

tamarind

Tamarind Institute, part of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, is a one and two year certificate program focused exclusively on Lithographic printing, whose goal is to create a growing pool of master printers.

MICA has been fortunate to maintain a relationship with Tamarind over the past 5 and 10 years, having seen a number of our alumni accepted into their program. We’re thrilled to see these two talented and deserving printers follow in those footsteps and step up to this new challenge. If the levels of abilities and craft gained by previous MICA/Tamarind alumni is any indication, these two will thrive in this new environment.

Congratulations again, we’re proud of you, and know you’ll represent MICA well!
